Step 1
Start by filling in our contact form with the details of your project. We review each request, offer advice where needed, and help shape your idea into a clear proposal. Once the project has taken form, we’ll provide you with a non-binding quotation.
Step 2
For bespoke materials we’ll issue custom samples based on your clean waste source. Collaborative designs will arrange a consultation once we are able to understand if the collaboration is feasable for both parties.
Step 3
We’ll begin production once you’re satisfied with the quotation, and only after the intial downpayment or full payement has been received. For bespoke orders, we apply a sampling service in which tailored samples will be developed specifically for the client, for this service we request full payment upfront to enable the R&D to take place.
Your order is carefully packed in a custom made FSC-certified crate suited for export, we can arrange transport worldwide. More information on lead times below.

Tracking for samples and regular orders works slightly differently. We provide tracking for all orders where this is made available by the freight forwarder. In some cases, such as shipments transported by air, tracking may be limited or unavailable. Where tracking information cannot be provided, our team will proactively keep you informed of the status of your shipment.

If your order arrives damaged, you are entitled to receive replacement goods. To qualify, you must notify Plasticiet of the damage within 24 hours of delivery. Plasticiet will review the situation with you to agree on an appropriate solution, which may include an allowance of up to 30%.

In most cases, orders cannot be cancelled once the agreement is in place. Cancellation is only possible if both you and Plasticiet have agreed in writing to specific termination terms. Where such terms apply, cancellation must be made by registered letter and must state the termination date. Cancellation is not possible once production has commenced, as each order is made to order.
There are limited circumstances in which the agreement may be terminated with immediate effect, such as bankruptcy, insolvency, or where one party is no longer able to meet its obligations. In these cases, either party may terminate the agreement by registered letter.

Orders from the United Kingdom are fulfilled through our trusted distribution partner, Surface Matter. They maintain stock of Karlite and Mother of Pearl sheets in a range of standard colours, enabling shorter lead times and efficient local delivery.
Surface Matter also holds a selection of legacy sheets such as: Black Rock, Blizzard 2.0, Chocolate Factory, Ivory 2.0, Rhinestone 2.0 and 2.1 white that are no longer in active production.
Surface Matter is our UK distributor and a trusted partner in circular material sourcing. Founded in 2013, they specialise in selecting, supplying, and supporting innovative surface materials, particularly plastics and polymer, that deserve a longer life. Orders

Most orders can be produced and shipped within two to six weeks, depending on the material, order size, and level of processing required. Small orders of standard colours from our regular collections can usually be shipped within two weeks, making them ideal for projects with tight timelines. Standard cutting, milling, chamfering, and simple finishing are typically completed within three weeks.
For larger orders of 20 m² or more, we recommend contacting us via our contact form well in advance. Larger volumes may require additional production planning, and early communication helps us confirm availability, schedule manufacturing, and ensure your required delivery date can be met.
Lead times also vary by material. Karlite orders are generally ready to ship within two to six weeks, depending on colour selection and finishing. Mother of Pearl orders require a longer production process and are usually ready to ship within four to eight weeks due to the natural characteristics of the material and more complex handling.
Please note that all lead times are estimates and may vary based on order specifications, finishing requirements, and current production capacity. All sales are subject to Plasticiet’s standard terms and conditions. For the most accurate lead time for your project, we are always happy to advise you directly.

Shipping costs are dependent on the size of the order. If prefered clients can arrange their own shipping.

Samples can be returned, and we will cover the return shipping costs. Finished panels, however, cannot be returned, as all orders are custom-made to specification.

During checkout, once you reach the 'Delivery' section, you must enter your address first. The available delivery options will then update automatically based on the information provided.

For bespoke samples, we will discuss any discrepancies with the client that may arise when scaling up the product. Due to the nature of the materials, some contamination may occur when scaling the sheets up to full size; however, we aim for the samples to match the full-scale materials you will receive as closely as possible.
Machining &

Bending the material after shipment by a third party is not recommended. Depending on the complexity of the design, we may be able to carry out bending in-house. Please complete the contact form and provide a project description, along with any sketches, renders or mood boards, so that we can assist you as effectively as possible.

We recomend Cayano acrylic which we can also provide with your order should this be necessary

Plasticiet panels work like most other materials and can be easily machines using a table saw. We always recommend taking saftey procautions when machining the materials.

Joining panels is possible there will be a small seam however this fairly is minimal.

Yes you can add hardware. Depending on the colourway you will receive different results, we recommend buying an A5 sample to test results in the first instance.

Yes, depending on the design of the project we're also able to construct designs in house. However, we don't do any designs with drawers.

We do all solid surface work you can imagine, we do bending, cutting, milling, glueing, miters, chamfers, sanding coating.
We can make cubes, cilinders, tables. We only fabricate things that are made entirely out of Plasticiet. If it includes drawers, or needs to be fixed to a wooden substrate, we don't do it. We also do not yet posses over a cnc mill so we make use of templates to do milling. -

Yes, depending on the complexity of the design we can bend the materials in house. Bending after shipment (by a third party) is not recommended.

Yes we can mill round shapes by making copying templates for the router.

Yes, but make sure to specify it, since it’s not included as a standard option. It can be done, but additional costs are involved. Specify the chamfer, rounded, or 45 degree. Edges sanded yes or no, coating applied to edges?

Our panels are not available for direct purchase online. Customers will receive a non-binding quotation based on specific project. As most of our products are made to order, we issue a 50% deposit upfront to begin production.

For sample orders, we accept Mastercard, Visa and American Express, as well as Google Pay. For sheet orders, our preferred payment method is bank transfer.

For first-time orders, payment must be made in full before production begins, unless otherwise agreed. For most subsequent orders above €7,500, plasticiet requires a 50% down payment prior to starting production, with the remaining balance invoiced after the goods have been shipped. Any additional services or products added to the original order will be included on this second invoice. All payments, including VAT and any applicable costs, are due within 30 days of receiving the invoice.

Our panels are non-porous and highly resistant to moisture. Karlite and Mother of Pearl are excellent choices for kitchens, bathrooms and other environments where water is present.

Uncoated polycarbonate sheets typically last 5–7 years outdoors before showing signs of colour changes. With a UV-protective coating, up to 10–15 years. We do not recommend outdoor use.

Polycarbonate has natural flame retardant properties, offering greater safety compared to many other recycled plastics. Our panels do not have an official fire safety certification however we are in the process of obtaining this.

Our panels remains stable up to around 120 °C, making it well suited for kitchens and everyday use, including contact with hot water.

Mother of pearl is made from 100% recycled polycarbonate and can be reprocessed at the end of its life, ensuring it remains part of a truly circular material cycle.

We're able to develop custom colors with different levels of translucency based on your wishes.
1. Share your reference Send us a RAL or Pantone color, a brief visual description and the desired level of translucency. Sketches, renders and moodboards help us understand the context of your project.
2. We create your samples We produce eight samples in four tonal variations of your selected color at 180mmx180mm. Four of the most accurate representations of the desired design are sent to you and four are archived in our material library for reference.
3. Select and refine Choose the sample that works best for your project. If adjustments are needed we repeat the process until we reach the result that fits best. N.B there is a small charge for this service. -
Yes, but that is considered bespoke and requires us to do some R&D for which extra costs are involved.
Bespoke

plasticiet will upon the rare occasion, repair or, at its discretion, replace any goods it manufactured that are found to be defective due to faulty design, materials, or workmanship, free of charge within 15 days of delivery. Defects must be reported in writing within 8 days of discovery, incuding imagery of the described issue. If requested, defective goods must be returned at the buyer’s expense. For goods made by third parties, any warranties provided to plasticiet will be passed on to the buyer, and plasticiet may choose to refund the purchase price if it has already been paid. Read our General Terms and Conditions for more details.

If your plasticiet product has a defect or discolourment due to faulty design, materials, or workmanship, plasticiet will repair or replace it free of charge within 15 days of delivery. You must notify plasticiet in writing as soon as the issue becomes apparent (within 8 days). If requested, the item must be returned at your expense. For goods produced by third parties, their warranty will be passed on to you, and plasticiet may choose to refund the purchase price if already paid.

Each panel is produced in Delft, the Netherlands with materials sourced in Europe.

Due to safetey reasons we do not offer site visits to the workshop during normal working days. We do however open up the space on special occassions through the year so keep an eye on our socials for those.

Within the Benelux area, subject to availability. If this is not possible, we aim to source as close as possible in order to minimise transport-related pollution.
